Audience: It is designed primarily for medical students, but will be useful to students of chiropractic, osteopathy, physical therapy, and massage therapy. Vesalius' De humani corporis fabrica On the Fabric of the Human Bodyaffectionately known as The Fabricahas stood the test of years of time to still be referenced and reproduced often in modern culture.

But this is really best used as an exercise book to help you learn new techniques for breaking down the figure drawing process. Its unique format makes it suitable as a ready reference for finding significant information quickly -- an important factor for students preparing for examinations. Next came The Bloodletting Letter ofwhich Vesalius published in support of the practice of bloodletting. Orientation Guides.

Material covering anatomical preparation and cadaver preservation, orientation and planes of section, the bones, muscles and cranial nerves and an extensive glossary provides supplemental detail. The concept of The Fabrica began earlier, inwhen Vesalius published a collection of his anatomical woodcuts, titled Tabulae anatomicae sex. You will learn how to see, how to render, and how to understand every part of the anatomy in detail. Roman Numerals.
